The Oceanic Inn
The Oceanic Inn is owned and operated by Armand Vachon of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and has been in business for four decades. Most of our rooms have been recently updated with brand new beds, air conditioning, kitchenettes and more. The Oceanic Inn is located in the heart of downtown Old Orchard Beach approximately 40 yards to the beach with no streets to cross! In addition, Armand speaks fluent French for the benefit of our visitors from Canada and France.

One Soho Square was built by Armand Vachon. It is influenced by his previous boss, Paul McCartney and the time Armand spent living in London and working as a roadie for Paul's group Wings during the 1970s. During this time Armand travelled extensively around the U.K. and Europe. Occasional downtime from studio work and traveling with Wings led Armand to gravitate across the English Channel to Paris and spend LOTS of time along the Left Bank, frolicking in sub-terrestrial Parisian pubs and cafes, thus the idea for One Soho Square. He decided to bring a piece of Europe back home to Old Orchard Beach. Come see for yourself how unique and attractive this pub is, the ONLY PUB UNDER the beach in Old Orchard Beach! |
